Brown Gravy

From The Kitchen Of Bob FlintsTone

Ingredients:
2 heaping teaspoon flour, all purpose or whole wheat.
1 teaspoon sugar
½ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons Soya sauce
1 tablespoon Teriyaki sauce (optional if you don't have any!)
5 drops Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon steak spice
3/4 cup cold water (coffee mug is ideal)
(omit salt if you are watching your sodium)

Instructions:
all ingredients

Mix all of the ingredients before making meal if possible, and store in fridge for ½ hour, to extract flavors. Make sure that there are no lumps left in the flour. You must use COLD water!

heat till boil

Pour mixture through strainer (to remove pieces of spices and any flour lumps), into frying pan. You will have to mix it through the strainer, I use my finger!

Heat on medium high. You must stir almost constantly with a spatula and watch it carefully, since it can be ruined by boiling very quickly, or by the flour settling out. Once it starts to bubble up, turn off heat and remove from stove right away - it's done!

gravy finished

Enough for 2 people.
